UK-based CBD brand Trip has $12 million worth financiering raised as it aims to continue its growth in the US market and beyond.
The round was supported by entrepreneurs, business leaders and investors, including Maria Raga, former CEO of Depop, and Christian Angermeyer, founder of Apeiron Investment Group.
Trip's high-quality CBD portfolio includes drinks, oils and gummies designed to help consumers find peace of mind. Trip co-founder Olivia Ferdi commented: “Over the past few years, the world's attitude to the importance of mental health has changed dramatically. Ever since we discovered the power of CBD through personal experiences, our mission has always been to bring calmness to everyday chaos.”
She continued: “We are helping spark conversations about stress and anxiety and are excited to create a community around the world, harnessing the power of plants to find peace.” The brand will use the investment to expand its retail footprint through strategic partnerships in the US.
