Tonight on Monday May 17, neurologist Prof. Martin van den Bent about the recently started research into the effect of cannabis oil on brain tumors. The live stream 'Embrace Life' is broadcast from the Erasmus MC hospital in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Olga van Harmelen, founder of Embrace Life Foundation, believes her brain tumor has stopped growing thanks to the use of cannabis oil. Cannabis oil is a commonly used product among cancer patients, but scientific research into its effect is scarce. That is why the Embrace Life Foundation and the neuro-oncology department of Erasmus MC in Rotterdam are joining forces to create a research into the effect of cannabis oil to realise.
About the Embrace Life Foundation
Embrace Life wants to raise money for research into (rare) forms of cancer. The first research they want to make possible concerns the medicinal effect of hemp, also known as cannabis, in, among other things, THC oil, CBD oil (the use of other components of the hemp plant such as CBG or CBDA) and in nutritional supplements for cancer patients.
