A new deal between luxury goods brand Lamborghini and a Canadian cannabis producer will drive more investment in the growing CBD beverage market in 2022.
Toronto-based cannabis company Flora Growth Corp. announced Monday that it has signed a licensing agreement with Tonino Lamborghini, an Italian luxury lifestyle brand with interests in food and beverage, to CBDto sell infused drinks in North America and Colombia.

Tonino Lamborghini is run by members of the Lamborghini family, descendants of Ferrucio Lamborghinic who founded the sports car brand, but the company is not affiliated with the automaker, which is now a part of Volkswagen.
The two companies will start with coffee drinks made in Florida, and will launch products in the US in the first quarter of 2022, “wherever cannabis-based products are legal”.
“The cannabis market represents a very interesting niche and we intend to offer a different luxury experience,” said Ferruccio Lamborghini, grandson of the founder of the Lamborghini dynasty, CEO of Tonino Lamborghini.
The company has been in the coffee industry for more than 30 years with its line of premium espresso brands, Lamborghini added.
