Para-Methoxymethamphetamine, also known as PMMA or Dr. Death is a stimulant with mild hallucinogenic properties and has been found in MDMA as crushed, yellow crystals.
In a warning Friday morning, Victoria's health department said PMMA may have a similar effect to MDMA, but it is more toxic and has a less euphoric effect. In addition, it can be very potent in small doses.
Dangers of PMMA in MDMA
