Canada became the first G2018 country to legalize the cultivation, sale and recreational use of cannabis in October 7. This created a huge demand for cannabis from Canadians and tourists. Legalization generates a lot of income for cannabis producers, but also tax revenues for the government. The cannabis market is expected to turn in around 5 billion this year. Will Canada be the only country to legalize marijuana or will other countries soon follow?
