Iconic Playboy brand launches its first CBD product line for intimacy and sex stimulation

American publishing icon Playboy has become the latest major international brand to enter the ever-growing CBD market. The company has announced the launch of the CBD by Playboy range, with the aim of promoting sexual wellness and intimacy.

The first product line with CBD from Playboy contains an arousal spray for € 40, intimacy warming gel for € 45 and a bath bomb for € 15.

Playboy has partnered with the online health & education platform Allbodies to develop a three-part education course that fits its products.

Customers can purchase the CBD products along with other goods and sign up for the courses on Playboy's new website, Pleasure For All.

"Our ambition at Playboy is to help everyone and every body discover and pursue pleasure," said Anita Little, Playboy's sex and culture editor, in a statement.

"Our goal is to provide everyone with the knowledge - and now the sexual wellness products they need - to enable the most satisfying sexual experiences possible."

Playboy stopped publishing its print edition in May due to the coronavirus pandemic. The legendary brand is entering the CBD space at a time when consumer use is on the rise.

A number of sources have reported that CBD use has increased significantly over the months of the Coronavirus and resulting lockdowns as record numbers of people experience anxiety. 39% of CBD consumers say they are using CBD more to cope with the pandemic and other pressures that will be placed on people in 2020, according to a recent consumer survey by Brightfield Group company.
